The Dodge (RMTDR) club is hosting a Dyno Day at PFI on Saturday, April 24th at 9am at PFI, 5720 S. Bueno Dr., Ft Collins.

They have sent the CPSC a special invitation to come dyno our trucks as well. The Dodge boys always make a good showing at our dyno events, so let's return the favor!

$30 per hook up. First come, first serve. No reprogramming or changing out parts on the dyno please. You can, however, run, unhook off the dyno, change out your part(s), then get back in line to run again. Remember, this is the least expensive dyno place we have found and seems to be pretty accurate.

Please post here if you plan on dynoing or just attending that day. Then I can give them an estimated number of PSDs.

I guess this means it's time for me to get serious and get my 95 running before 4/24.

DI - 4 position chip - custom programs

I would like to see that Carl! Especially at a Dodge dyno event. I wonder if Mike O. can make this one!?!?!?

I am waiting to see what our kid's soccer game schedules looks like (3 different teams ) to see what time we can make it. I know that Alan will for sure run, as he is on his way to Arkansas as I type! \/ =D>

Where were you guys on the 20th. I had to support the NCPSC with another member at PFI. The Dodge boys brought a HEMI on NOS!

Don't worry we made you proud

Great group of guys and they came with some real nice trucks. One was a lifted 4x4 that had wheels that were huge and it was a dually. I talked the the owner and he came up from Buena Vista for this event. The hood on his truck was as tall as my trucks roof.

A couple of old time trucks a Chevy with a 400, and a Ford with another hot motor. Then we saw a 70' Cuda that was awsome. Finally the Racing shop down the street brought over a blown Funny car. I left before that run took place.

Well with the Auburn L/S I added the TQ readings pegged out the Dyno on 6 runs. It can't read anything above 1200 ft. #'s. My final run with the engine too hot and a bad exhaust leak in the passengers side up pipe would only allow 30psi of boost. So I pulled a 509hp on my 9th run.

Watching the rear tires on my truck underload was incredable with the wrinkles in the sidewalls of both rear tires. Starting at the 6:00 position at the rollers and working their way up to about the 2:00 position. So more than a quarter of the tire was distorted with 4 or 5 wrinkles in it. I thought the tire was going to detatch from the wheel.

Fixed the Up pipe that afternoon and I'm ready for another run.

BTW David Lott called me last night and just posted a 616hp run on stock head gaskets and running NOS.

Mike,

What event on the 20th??? I must have missed something along the way!

I have been hearing that the Cummins guys have been adding some things here and there, so it should be an interesting day on the dyno!

Since you fixed your up pipe and are ready for another run, does that mean you will be there to run on 4/24?

I'll look at my schedule, my son will be racing in Sonoma, CA then on to Big Bear, CA so I'll be pulling the trailer for about 3 weeks and I think it starts end of April.

I need to schedule a trip with Alan to BTS real soon.

Mike,

Just let me know whenever you find out.

As far as a trip with Alan, he is on his way to Arkansas right now. His appointment with Brian is first thing Monday morning. Then he is planning on driving straight home as soon as it is done. Should be home sometime Tuesday. He tried to get a time in April to go, so you could go with him, but Brian's shop schedule is so full and our schedule is getting full. I just moved my grandmother here from Tennessee (no I didn't go see Swamp - I flew out there ) and she is staying with us until her furniture gets to her assisted living apartment. I couldn't leave her alone and go with him, and I know things are going to get even crazier around here soon, so I just told him to go and get it done. I hated to miss out on meeting Brian, but some things just come first.

I can't wait to drive his truck when he gets back! :firedevil:
Hopefully, he will let me.
